Currently in a roadtrip around Japan, I am a person open to all opportunities and looking for challenges.
I have a car, speak fluently English & French and have a B1 level in German.

I was lucky enough to be able to organize the opening of a hotel for a new season in advance. I was also able to manage staff schedules, participate in the management and sale of seminars and weddings, and take part in yield management and hotel communications.

Receptionist - Hotel le Provençal ***

For me, this first season was the fruit of a lot of learning and pushing myself. It enabled me to make my customers happy and to learn the basics of my profession in the field.

These few weeks enabled me to get to know the other phase of activity in a reception facility: night-time. This enabled me to acquire a great deal of autonomy.

I've now finished this adventure, during which I've significantly improved my English. I'm now pretty much fluent. I've learned to handle a lot of guest complaints (due to the big amount of rooms) and I've also learned to get organised and productive to manage the huge amount of guest coming at the desk
I became super rigorous, and I've been doing both Front Office and Switchboard. It's been a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as everything was bigger and more challenging, but it's been a real pleasure to work there. !

Planning guest itineraries, in advance or last minute is a pleasure. Working close with all the businesses from the town give you a feeling of knowing everything around you.

Looking for more action and stress, moving to the biggest hotel in Queenstown was an opportunity for me to get back to the busier days.
The idea was to be able to reach Duty Manager in this property but due to visa situations, this wasn't possible to arrange. This was however a great experience within an amazing work team.
